Verdelho White 2004
|
The exceptional conditions of light and the hot sun of Alentejo, together with the humid Atlantic breezes blowing from Northwest, combined with the unique schistous and vulcanic nature of the soil constitute the origin for the outstanding character of the wines from “ESPORÃO” state.
This is a Regional Alentejo White, made exclusively from the Verdelho grape, one of the top local varieties.
The wine has a straw colour with green tinges. The aroma is exotic when young, suggesting peach, lime and grapefruit, developing into melon and honey with age.
The palate is full and rich, whit sweet ripe fruit flavours and balancing acidity.
Ideal with most fish dishes, and also with Asian cuisine. | |
